Neat and light hard floor vacuum
I ordered online. Delivery was prompt as promised. Arrived undamaged. I've only had it for a week and so far so good. I must not have read the description thoroughly. It came with 2 floor attachments. One with soft spinning brushes to use on hard floors the other is a plastic head with a retractible hard brush for carpets. I've only used the spinning brush head. The only problem I've had is that the tool holder was not as advertised. Mine came with a holder that only has one spot for one tool. I called Bissell customer service. They apologized and are sending me a tool holder to hold both the crevice tool and the brush. A+ for customer service. Hope it holds up. This beats my upright shark navigator DLX by miles. The ease of vacuuming with this no longer makes it seem like a chore!Momof3Gs
Bissell Canister Vac
This is a small, lightweight but VERY powerful hard floor vacuum! It does have a short power cord, but a spare extension cord fixes that if you don't want to stop to unplug and plug it back in from area to area. We do still have an upright to use on our carpeted areas. This Bissell doesn't take up much room; we don't have to switch out hose/attachments for the powerhead on the upright; and both of us can vacuum at the same time!LittleBeaky
This vacuum works great. I was amazed at the power plus what it picks up. It even got up glitter that no matter how I had tried was still stuck in the groves on my hardwood floors from last Christmas. Very pleased. The cord is long enough to reach all of the rooms without plugging in and unplugging to reach.mugs
Great vacum for bare floors
The suction is strong the canister moves with u easily. Even the head with the soft brush on picks up dirt on the floor without throwing it out the back. Very well built and great priceMarie
Great little vac
This is a powerful great little vac. The dirt cup emptying is a little challenging but wouldn't stop me from purchasing it it is that good. I wish the power cord was a little longer. I find myself plugging and unplugging but that is my only vice towards it. I am very very pleasedComfort
This is one great little vacuum!!!Very quiet but very efficient!Works great and I am so happy with it.I clean the cup with every room but that is no trouble to me.It is worth it.mdniteowl
Love it!
This is the perfect vacuum for me! I have an 800 square foot apartment, all hard floor, and this vacuum is perfect for it! for being so small it really "sucks" in a good way! The rug attachment is amazing, I only use it on small area rugs, but it certainly gets the job done! Not only is it small which makes storing it easy, but it is quiet! Love it!!Lexilou319
Good job in small space
What I like: light weight to carry easily, small size for small space, vacuum about 5 average size rooms with emptying twice, easy to access bagless container and easy to empty, no fuss to pull out extension and put extra tools on, can reach ceiling fans easily, great for vacuuming baseboard and hard flooring, variety of attachments work well and are easy on/off.
What I would prefer: I would like a longer chord, but in a small space this one is adequate. Be sure and watch the yellow and red markers beyond which you don't want to pull the chord out of the housing.
Overall this vacuum is a good value and has plenty of suction, great for hard flooring walls and even ceilings!FigPeach
Great for wood floor
Just moved into a house with parquet floors. This does a great job of getting up dirt including pet hair and cat litter. 2 different heads give you options, and can be used on rugs. Not the best for large carpeted areas, but that's not what I got it for.CalKat
Wouldn't purchase again
I have had this vacuum for a little under a year. I have three dogs (one long hair, two short hair) and two humans (one short hair, one with 22+ inches of hair), just to give a little background for the dirt and hair this thing has been dealing with.
My first complaint is about the hardwood floor head, it has one of those brushes that regular upright vacuums do (useless on hardwood and tile) so it gets tangled with human hair a lot and just sort of pushes the dirt and dog hair around. I have included a picture, clumps of dog hair and dirt that just get spread around (I had been cleaning the attachment after every use). I ended up buying a different head at a thrift store that was more suitable for hardwood and tile, it just has empty space and scoots along the floor. I was very disappointed in the design of the vacuum heads it came with. the one for carpet does nothing, DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE USING IT ON LARGE AREAS OF CARPET, it sucks and not in the good way. My second complaint is it overheats quickly, I have about 750sq ft of hardwood and tile, I have been able to get this amount of space done but not much more before it has to take a 3-hour break to cool down. Also, the little wheels on the canister part get really dirty and can scratch hardwood floors.

Now to the good stuff and the reason it even gets three stars. It has handled the hair pretty dang well (besides the hardwood and tile head attachment sucking), I have had minimal clogs and when it does clog it has been an extremely easy fix. It happens in the extension part of the vacuum head and not in the bendy part that is hard to clean. It is extremely easy to clean (I was all my filters after every use) and replacement filters are a decent price, but thats about the extent of the pros.

If I had to make the purchase again I probably wouldn't just because it is useless on the carpet and the hard surface attachment was basically useless on top of the short run time.RKM
