Limited 180gm vinyl LP repressing of this 1978 album, released to coincide with the bands 40th Anniversary. Remastered to high definition 192kHz/24-bit audio for maximum fidelity, this album has never sounded so amazing and now vinyl collectors will get what theyve been demanding. All posters, sleeve art, stickers, etc that appeared in the original LP release have been faithfully reproduced for the KISS Army. Kisss long-tongued leader rocked hard on his 1978 solo outing, while also dipping into funky disco, orchestrated pop, Beatles-esque songcraft and even a bit of Disney magic (When You Wish upon a Star). His impressively eclectic album soared to #22, partly on the strength of his only solo hit, Radioactive. Guests include Rick Nielsen, Joe Perry, Donna Summer, Cher, Bob Seger, Janis Ian and others.

Gene Completes Collection of all 4 Solo Album's
Man , I was 8 years old when I first got this record and Ace's solo album was always my favorite but listening to this record now at 49 , I really dig this album as well ,there are a lot of hidden rocker gems here and you are just going to have to support Gene one more time to find out what I'm talking about , believe me when I say this album is over the top in a good way , some real smokers here and the guitar solos sound like Ace and Page had a baby because they are killer through out this gem Better Hurry these 2014 Re-issues won't last forever ... the delivery was smooth and flawless it just took a little longer but I did opt for the free shipping , so if you are impatient like me , pay a little more for the shipping , I swear they use better cardboard shipping bowed and it gets here three sometimes even 4 or 5 day sooner if you pay for the shipping ( which is very reasonably priced if you do opt for faster shipping) I hope this review helped anyone who may have been on the fence about this one'Patrick
Gene Simmons and the KISS of the solo Demon.
Gene Simmons solo album 1978. Great album. Full of great songs like Radioactive, Mr. Make Believe, Living in Sin, and even Gene's version of When You Wish Upon A Star. Album comes completely with original poster from 1978 release, as well as the original record sleeve inside the jacket. Pity it didn't come with the order form for collectibles like the 1978 version. While many say that Ace, and Paul's solo albums were better, and more definitive of the KISS sound, Genes album is still very much worth the purchase, as the album is still a good listen.Tracy
