Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition of Metallicas 1983 debut album. Kill Em All is regarded as a groundbreaking album for thrash metal because of its precise musicianship, which fuses New Wave of British Heavy Metal riffs with hardcore punk tempos. Its musical approach and lyrics were markedly different from rocks mainstream of the early ‘80s and inspired a number of bands who followed in similar manner. Metallica is easily one of the best, most influential heavy metal band of the 80s. Responsible for bringing the genre back to Earth, the bandmates looked and talked like they were from the street, shunning the usual rockstar games of metal musicians during the early 80s. They expanded the limits of thrash, using speed and volume not for their own sake, but to enhance their intricately structured compositions.

The First Album
The Meat and Cheese of early metal.Adolescent James Hetfield and Cliff Burton started it all. Then Lars Ulrich,Kirk Hammett came on. Dave Mustaine made his debut,a great rhythm guitarist.Wrote and jammed all the through Ride the Lightning
In those mean and green days the Militia had John Zazula as producer.Creating a raw unrefined sound full of overdrive created the next generation of rock heroes.Favorites include The Four Horsemen,No Remorse,Anesthesia Cliff Burton solo and Hit The Lights.
Enjoy!Tyler
Metallica ...in the beginning
The most important heavy metal album since Black Sabbath Vol.4. This is unpolished, raw, and hungry Metallica, before they made it big. Metallica have several important albums in rock/metal history starting with this one.Brian
